FAQ

Q. Does tracmow require a winch?

A. NO! Unlike other remote controlled slope mowers, TracMow does not require a winch in order to climb and hold steep slopes. Rubber tracks and a low center of gravity provide unparalleled traction.

Q. can you really control every function of tracmow with the remote?

A. YES! Every function - starting the engine, engage the PTO, raising/lowering the mowing deck, turning on the lights - is controlled by the advanced remote control unit, which has an IP65 water resistance rating. The remote control range is over 600 feet!

Q. do i need a trailer to transport tracmow?

A. NO! Convenient transport makes TracMow stand out from other slope mowers. Models 70Pro and 80Pro are both narrow enough to drive straight into the back of a standard pickup truck bed or cargo van.

Q. Can tracmow be used in conservation areas or near drinking water reservoirs?

A. YES! TracMow’s electric transmission system prevents any leakage making it perfectly safe to use in conservation areas, protected nature reserves, or near drinking water reservoirs.

Q. How steep of a slope can TracMow truly handle?

A. TracMow’s low center-of-gravity allows it to easily climb slopes up to 55º. When mowing across slopes, the maximum angle recommended is 45º. It is recommended to keep the fuel tank oriented towards the top of the slope. Since TracMow mows in forward and reverse, there is no need to perform tricky maneuvers keep the tank oriented uphill.

Q. Where is TracMow manufactured?

A. TracMow is manufactured by Barbieri S.R.L. in Sossano, Italy. Established in 1958, Barbieri has been producing high quality gardening and landscaping equipment for over fifty years.
